Well, this month Keltbray saw the first ‘PRO8475 Truck’ Webfleet unit fitted to one of its SRS 12m Pantograph Machines. This cutting edge HGV satellite navigation system allows routes to be uploaded in real time based on client request, fuel efficient routes and any highways restrictions on the way to the intended destination. The system also integrates a ‘Walk around check list’ within its system allowing drivers and operators to complete the required legal checks and instantly upload details as well as photos to the Keltbray systems. Real time remote tracking allows logistical teams to keep clients up to date with delivery and collection arrangements continuing the high levels of client service. Integration with the existing camera systems fitted to all machines, the unit stores all recordings (Road and Rail) to upload directly to Keltbray systems.
The system is on trial and subject to performance will be rolled out across the entire fleet of Highway permissible vehicles inclusive of MEWPS, wiring units and the Crane.
