I am pleased to announce to you and your clients / contacts, the commissioning of Infrastructure Plant’s two brand new Colmar 4m Rhino horn machines.
The conception of these bespoke builds is a direct result of a collective team effort from: Site Installation, Engineering, Project Planning and Plant Departments.
Taking into account lessons learnt and previous project experiences, all parties sat down around a table and dove deep into the working methodologies for main steel installation and heavy lifting. With the overall goal of creating a safe and efficient machine, that drives Infrastructure Plant’s dynamic versatility and boosts capability moving into the CP7 period.
The all-new arm configuration and upgraded parts allows for a strengthened capacity through the bucket ram allowing a 20° kick back past horizontal for a greater range of movement. Combining the extendable counterweight and the impressive 3,500kg Safe working load gives unparalleled levels of stability without the use of outriggers or stabilisers.
A typical Rhino Horn enabled machine would require it to be removed and replaced dependent on the weight of the lifts retailed on the lift plan. The newly installed Auxiliary Lifting Points (ALP) with a 10,000kg SWL allows the operator to select the required lift point via the GKD system with safety and ease. All the while, the rhino horn remains connected to the arm of the machine, safe lifting operation can be undertaken with loads outside of the Rhino Horn scope such as trailers. Eliminating manual handling requirements for on-site personnel, along with an increase in efficient working, the subsequent benefits will be felt by both the client, planners and delivery team.
The icing on the cake is that all these modifications have been carefully carried out by trusted and accredited suppliers with the view to maintaining the machines overall piling capability, thus diversifying the fleet and boosting overall capabilities.
The machines have undergone rigorous testing by the Plant team prior to collection to ensure our highest standard are met and maintained for internal projects and external clients alike
Already with successful shifts undertaken we look forward to the bright future with our newest addition that are available to hire via myself [email protected] (07891544276) or our Hire desk at [email protected]
